Today at the Vicarage : The Vicarage.

Two consecutive diary entries. This really must be a brave new world. And music. Such music. I am now the proud owner of the double white album on Cd, and it is even now blasting away on my hi fi station - which is unequal to the task, but what would not be?

Might a suggest a new game to while away the winter hours. The best "three in a row" on any original (as opposed to compilation) album. Mine would have to be Bungalow Bill (complete with Mellotron Spanish guitar intro available for a mere $15,000 from CHRVL), "ey up" into While My Guitar Gently Weeps, into the absolutely heavenly "Happiness is a Warm Gun"...she's not a girl who misses much,do do do do do do, wow yeah. She's well acquainted with the touch of the velvet hand etc etc.

Must not get too carried away.

And what of work? I have just received a challenge from RF asking me to produce the King Crimson remix album that I continually recommend to other people. Starless, the remix, would be singing in my head even as I write this, were it not for the unequal battle with Dear Prudence.

This is a piece of work I shall undertake

If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams
and endeavours to live the life he has imagined
he will meet with success unexpected in common hours
